Learn to Ice Carve

Grab a chisel and hack at a block of ice. We offer private workshops or off-site team bonding experiences.

Workshops

Learn how to carve a themed ice sculpture, step-by-step, using various chisels and hand tools. Walk away with a completed sculpture that you can take home to show off to with your friends and family!
We provide a workstation fitted with a 65lb block of clear ice (about the size of a large watermelon) and a collection of hand tools. Up to 2 people can carve on a workstation to collaborate on a creation.

Public workshops are discontinued, but we can accommodate private lessons at $200 per workstation.

If you are interested in reserving a private group (bachelor party, birthday, etc.) workshop experience either on-site or off-site please contact us with desired date, location, and number in group.

Team Bonding

Have your team take a break and carve some ice together. This is a great way to cool down, work together, and discover the creative talents of your co-workers.

We can work with up to 100 people. All you will need is a location to host the event and we can take care of everything else. Included with the team bond experience are blocks of ice, tools, gloves and safety glasses, instruction, setup, and clean up. Finished sculptures can be placed outdoors for extended view.

In each session, James will give a brief introduction of the tools and explain the objective. Then James will circle around the groups, providing instruction and answering questions.

Here are a couple of options on how a Team Bonding experience is taught:
- Theme: There is a overall theme that each group discusses, designs, and carves. An optional presentation of each pieces is given at the end. Judging is optional.
 - Carve Logo or Design: Each group will carve their logo or a pre-selected design.
- Puzzle Piece: Each group carves a piece of a larger sculpture. In the end we set the sculptures together to see the big picture.

Creative additional ideas are encouraged!
